- Economics – socialist, free market, Keynesianism
- History – Middle Ages, movements or periods transitioning to modern/postmodern era
- Nutrition – holistic medicine, the use of foods, herbs to maintain or improve health
- Politics – Broad perspective comprised of sociology, media, psychology, social sciences to understand the dynamics of political power in context of societal power.
- Social Critique/Commentary – My own perspective or views on society, personal brand of sociology to explain individuals or groups behaviors.
- Science – Provocative or recent findings in any branch of science
- Philosophy – The pursuit of any overall integrative world-view, set of beliefs or schema that explains the cosmos.
- Social media – The examination of this mode of social interaction in terms of individual as part of superorganism or reciprocal causation between microcosm individual and macrocosm tribe or contagion event.
- Propagandology – The use or methodology of a given science by a group of people or institution to promote its own goals or interests, e.g., the use of “free market” economics to serve the interests of the super-wealthy.
- Semiotics – The science of studying symbols in a broader sociological context, e.g., consumerism, whereby capitalism maintains its hegemony as the organizing principle of global society
- Dialectics – Hegelian schema of causation, transformation, evolution via thesis, antithesis, synthesis as evidenced in historical, societal trends.
